Global Summit Logistics & Supply Chain
1. Good morning, thank you for this interview and for participating in #GLSummit24. What are your expectations for this edition?
Events like this allow us to establish a clear and realistic picture of the intralogistics world today. In our sector, responsiveness and good ideas are essential—and at events like the Global Summit, you find both. Companies like Infolog, which develop Warehouse Management (WMS) software solutions, have the opportunity here to meet decision-makers from companies actively seeking our products for warehouse logistics management and to experience firsthand the high performance levels now achievable.
2. Will you be presenting any new products or innovations at #GLSummit24?
At #GLSummit24, we will showcase some of the latest innovations in logistics. A key trend in the industry is the growing digitalization of processes in real time, with a significant increase in applied intelligence for operational processes and automation integration. Our established Enterprise-class software platform, INTELLIMAG™ WMS, is already compatible with these technologies.
To remain competitive, it is essential to keep pace with industry trends and understand advanced modules such as REGIA ATTIVA, indoor/outdoor RTLS geolocation systems, photographic packing lists, booking, and WCS. These features enable integration with existing automation systems, such as vertical warehouses, automated systems, LGV, AGV, AMR, and more. All these capabilities are available in our Intellimag™ WMS product. We are fully aligned with the Energy and Digital Transition 5.0 demanded by the market.
3. Supply chain efficiency seems to be a top priority for many companies today. What do you offer to those aiming to achieve this goal?
We are very proud of the results achieved with REGIA ATTIVA, the exclusive warehouse scheduler developed in Infolog SpA’s software labs, which has proven to be one of the greatest innovations introduced in WMS at both national and international levels.
The reorganization of logistics by flows (rather than processes) implemented in all our projects has delivered results beyond expectations, achieving very high performance levels and reducing errors by 99%. We will showcase Regia Attiva integrated with our multi-sector INTELLIMAG WMS system and innovative RTLS systems for tracking and geolocation of vehicles and products through VIRTUAL TAG, the breakthrough introduced last year for intelligent product self-identification without the need for any label or RFID tag.
This year, we will also present specific verticalizations of INTELLIMAG WMS for sectors such as Mechanics, Ceramics, Fashion, Wine, Steel, Furniture, Distribution, and Healthcare.
4. Logistics and sustainability: how do you incorporate this essential theme into your proposals and services?
Integrating logistics and sustainability is a fundamental priority. Our product, INTELLIMAG WMS, not only optimizes logistics operations but also promotes sustainable practices. Through intelligent optimization algorithms and integration with advanced geolocation/automation systems, it reduces warehouse movements and, consequently, energy consumption, fostering an eco-friendly approach to logistics. Additionally, we support our clients in implementing strategies to reduce waste, improve transport efficiency, and promote emission reduction. Sustainability is therefore a key element that permeates all our proposals and services, helping create a greener and more responsible future for the logistics sector.
5. Is there an ideal customer? What characteristics should they have, and why should they start working with your company?
Our ideal customer works in partnership with Infolog, which handles all logistical aspects—design, hardware, software, and support—for individual companies and/or national and international groups distributed geographically. Starting a relationship with Infolog also provides access to innovative, tailor-made solutions offered by our parent company, VAR GROUP, an Italian company with a turnover of €800 million and over 2,500 employees, a leader in ICT business solutions and services, present in 15 countries and already partnering with top enterprises. We are organized to provide continuous support, even 24/7, thus contributing to the growth and competitiveness of our clients.
6. What truly sets your company apart from others, and why should a visitor at #GLSummit24 sit down at your table to learn more and work with you?
A visitor should stop by the Infolog stand to experience firsthand an Enterprise-class Warehouse Management System, unique for its advanced Scheduling and Auto-ID/Auto-LOC Geolocation system, flexible for its multi-sector and multi-platform features, and integrable with all major automation and field systems. The platform’s great scalability allows support for a high number of companies and users with consistent performance.
Moreover, thanks to our know-how and size, we can manage an entire project as a partner and “main contractor,” handling all phases—from technical and design aspects to bureaucratic support for system certification.
Thank you for this interview. See you at the Global Summit!
